I have been a web designer and developer for over a decade. Currently, I am a UX Designer at Intel’s New Devices Group working on the human/computer interactivity of wearables, proof-of-concepts, and connected home devices. I have worked in large and small agencies on household names, small businesses, non-profits and boutique projects. In addition to in-house and agency work, I have served as an adjunct professor at the Art Institute of Portland and Helena University in web development and design.
While my expertise is in information architecture, front-end design and front-end development, I have also conducted user testing, accessibility audits and branding exercises, all with the end goal of producing the most accessible and intuitive interfaces possible.
Why I love my work
My current passion is user experience design in anything digital. I love the confluence of psychology, behavior studies, art and digital media into one discipline. Because of my deep background in design and development, I am able to bring far more technical and design know-how to each user experience design challenge than is usually achieved, which saves projects noticeable time, money, and headaches. I’m looking for dynamic and engaging work that continue to challenge me and push the envelope of what is possible.
